Artwork Series: "Collection"

Although the name “Collection” was the last part of this piece, the idea for the artwork was actually the very first inspiration for my new works. After sitting on the idea for some time I wanted to create not only something that wasn’t inspired by other art I’ve seen but more importantly something that represented how personal my own transformation was.

The Year of Like, Realising Stuff

I never, ever thought of quitting my job - it’s not that I didn’t think it was impossible, it quite literally never came to mind but when things started to align, my plans started to get bigger and deadlines tighter - as a soul-sucking job which I hadn’t encountered like this in all my years of retail, I had a shock to the system (of my work closing) and I took the opportunity, as well as the help. And here I am - a year out of retail and working for myself. So, I took some time to gather my thoughts and realised there were more things I was surprised by then I expected…

2017 Horoscope Series | Cancer

Wow, I've officially put out half my star sign series... 6 down, 6 to go. If you've been following the series you have probably seen just as much change as I have and this month Cancer was one to show the difference. So I thought I’d finally share what I’ve learnt since my last drawing challenge and share the 6 stages of my drawing benders…

A few years ago I created a piece in memory of him and this year I thought it was time to show him, myself and you how far I’ve come.

2017 Horoscope Series | Taurus

In creating this series I've found every month brings a completely new piece. Each and every muse(s) bring a totally new influence and life to their piece. Taurus was inspired by my good friend and muse, also the previous muse for Hotel Cali - I loved so much creating this, it was a piece of wonder, inspiration (inspired by Esra Roise) and experiment.
